How Do I Know if I'm in Menopause?

Most women will experience a variety of symptoms that suggest they are going through menopause such as changes in your cycle, hot flushes, night sweats, sleep difficulties and mood changes. Ultimately, blood testing for the female hormones FSH and estradiol may help in making the diagnosis, but usually this isn't necessary. Other medical conditions such as thyroid disease may mimic menopause so it can be helpful to review your symptoms with your health care provider.
