How do I get over feeling bad when I look in the mirror and see "old?"

Tell yourself that everyone ages and at some point, no matter what we do, we will see the inevitable signs of aging in the mirror. There may be wrinkles, gray hair and age spots developing. Our skin texture may feel different and our shape may be changing. We cannot "anti-age" – as much as our media has us believing that – but we can make the most of what we look like by taking care of our health and well-being. Remember, seeing "old" is different than noticing changes that come with age. We need to mourn our youthful self image to make room for new definitions of beauty as we age. We have years ahead as capable, strong, and passionate women. See that image reflected in the mirror and instead of "seeing old," you'll see someone you can feel proud of for the rest of your life.
