Where can I find information about bladder control and/or POISE products?

POISE offers a variety of absorbent protection products for women with light to moderate bladder weakness. Our product selection guide can help you find the right product for your needs.

Also, our bladder control facts section describes the causes and types of bladder weakness and hopefully will put your mind at ease by answering any questions you may have about loss of bladder control.

And remember, bladder weakness is common problem that can be improved and managed, so consult with your doctor or health professional for advice.

Which POISE pad holds the most?

Our most absorbent pads are POISE Super Maxi pads which hold up to 300ml of fluid. They feature Absorb-loc* protection, which absorbs 2X more than most regular Overnight pads. In addition, Odour Care* granules help prevent odour, and the Dry Touch Cover keeps you dry. POISE Super Maxi is the only POISE pad with soft side shields to help stop and contain leaks.

How much do the various POISE products hold? What pack counts do they come in?

For women with very light to moderate bladder weakness, we recommend POISE liners, and pads, available in three different sizes and absorbencies:

Product Length Absorbency Description Pack Count
POISE Liners 16.5 cm 25ml Very light absorbency 16
POISE Slim Pad 23cm 100ml Light absorbency 16
POISE Super Maxi 28cm 300ml Just over a cup 16
How frequently should these products be changed?

The length of time that a product can be worn varies according to individual needs. Each person’s situation is unique due to contributing factors such as type of bladder weakness, bladder capacity, amount and frequency of loss.

Does POISE make a pad for men?

All POISE pads are designed for women.

Can I buy POISE products directly from Kimberly-Clark?

We sell our POISE products through a variety of retail outlets rather than directly to individuals. You’ll find them available in most supermarkets, hypermarkets, health & beauty/personal care stores, and drug stores as well as Chinese medical halls.

Will insurance pay for POISE products?

Because this may vary plan by plan, we suggest that you check with your health insurance provider.

How should I dispose of POISE products?
POISE products can be disposed of in a similar manner as menstrual pantiliners and pads. When you use a new piece, you can use the wrapping for disposal of the old POISE product. POISE products and packaging should not be flushed down the toilet.
